Phonexa Updates: Per-Buyer Reports, Voicemail Detection, ZIP Filtering & More

Summer has been busy on the product side. Modules like LMS Sync, Call Logic, iClear, Lynx, E-Delivery, and a handful of platform-wide settings all got updates. Some big, some small, all worth knowing about. Here’s what’s new.

Per-Buyer Report Customization (LMS Sync & Call Logic)

Control what each buyer segment sees in reports

What’s New: Report customization can now be set up per buyer at the product level. You can create up to 5 custom Buyer Groups, place each buyer into a single group, and decide which fields that group gets to see. If a buyer isn’t assigned to any custom group, they just keep using the default, the system-defined All Buyers view.

Purpose: Not every buyer should see the same data. For example, premium buyers and trial buyers may need different levels of visibility into consumer data. With this customization you can control exactly what each group of buyers sees without impacting the other groups.

How Teams Use It: Go to Product Setup and click on Report Customization. In the Buyer Reports: Lead Details tab, you’ll see expanded visibility settings for Product fields. Create groups of Buyers and define a unique set of fields for each group.

Publisher Assignment for JS Forms (LMS Sync)

See which publisher owns each form faster

What’s New: The JS Form report got an upgrade. There’s a new Publisher column that tells you which publisher owns each form. And going forward, every form needs a Publisher assigned when it’s created or edited. Admins can see all forms across every publisher, while Publisher Agents only see their own.

Purpose: If you’re running forms across dozens of publishers, tracking ownership used to mean digging through logs. Now it’s right there in the report.

How Teams Use It: Open the JS Form report and look at the Publisher column. Admins get the full picture. Publisher Agents see only theirs. When something breaks, you know who to contact.

Answering Machine Detection / AMD (Call Logic)

Filter out voicemail deliveries automatically

What’s New:Call Logic campaigns now have AMD settings built in, under Campaign > Phone/IVR > Transfer Settings. After a call connects, AMD listens to the audio to understand whether a real person picked up or if it went to voicemail. If it’s a machine, the system plays a custom message and then chooses the follow-up action: no action, disconnect the buyer, transfer to another campaign, or wait it out with a timeout window (anywhere from 6 to 300 seconds).

Purpose: Voicemail deliveries are a routing efficiency issue. They eat up connection time and send calls to buyers who were never going to pick up. Catching them automatically keeps traffic moving to where it can actually be answered, and saves publishers from routing calls that just end up in a voicemail box.

How Teams Use It: Inside your Call Logic campaign settings, enable AMD and select what you want to happen when a machine answers. The system handles it automatically from there.

Distance-to-ZIP Filtering (iClear)

Reject leads with mismatched locations

What’s New: iClear has new filter rules at the Campaign level, within IP Scoring. When you turn on Geo by ZIP, the system automatically rejects leads if the distance between the lead’s IP location and the ZIP code they submitted goes past whatever threshold you set, in kilometers or miles.

Purpose: Mistyped ZIPs and spoofed locations cost you buyer returns and wasted payouts. This catches them before bad leads leave your system.

How Teams Use It: Go into your IP Scoring rules, enable Geo by ZIP, and set a distance threshold.

iClear → IP Scoring

Custom Tracking Domains (Lynx)

Use your own domain for all tracking links

What’s New: You can now point all your Lynx links (clicks, impressions, conversions, QR codes, short links) to your own domain instead of the default instance domain. Everything runs through your URL. One thing to note: domain activation is a managed, paid service at $100 per domain, and it includes DNS verification. Reach out to your Account Manager to start using it.

Purpose: Running large-scale affiliate email campaigns on a shared tracking domain means your link reputation is tied to everyone else using that domain. That’s not great for deliverability. Your own domain keeps your traffic isolated.

How Teams Use It: Go to Alternative Domains, add your domain, and set the purpose to Lynx Tracking Link or Lynx Conversion URL. Then assign it per offer using the Tracking Domain and Conversion Domain settings. From that point on, your Lynx links automatically use your domain.

Recurring Campaign Type (E-Delivery)

Schedule campaigns to run on repeat automatically

What’s New: E-Delivery now has a Recurring campaign type under Campaign Automation. Set an interval (hours or days) and the campaign automatically sends to your contact list on that schedule. If new contacts get added between sends, they’re automatically included in the next run.

Purpose: Things like IP warm-up shouldn’t require you to manually rebuild a campaign every single cycle. Set it once and let it run.

How Teams Use It: Go to Campaign Setup, open Campaign Automation, and set Campaign Type to Recurring. Configure the Trigger Period and save it. The system handles the rest. Your contact list gets the send on schedule, every time.

Custom Menu & Module Naming (Platform-Wide)

Rename modules to match your team’s terminology

What’s New: Menu items, components, and even full modules can now be renamed across your platform instance (available upon request). You create the labels, and the platform uses them everywhere.

Purpose: Teams have their own vocabulary. When the platform doesn’t match it, new users get confused and everyone else just learns to work around it. Renaming things fixes that friction.

How Teams Use It: Talk to your Account Manager. You could, for example, rename LMS Sync and Call Logic to “Web Leads” and “Call Leads”, or whatever fits how your team actually refers to them. Once it’s set, the custom names are displayed in all menus and modules.

Redesigned Tracking Permissions Tab (Platform-Wide)

Manage access rules with a clearer layout

What’s New: The Tracking Permissions tab has been rebuilt with a table-based layout. The rule configuration modal got a refresh too.

Purpose: Now you can see clearer who has access to what, and manage those rules across users, groups, and behaviors in one place instead of hunting through settings.

How Teams Use It: Go to System Management > Logs and open Tracking Permissions. You’ll see a table with columns for allowed users, allowed groups, blocked users, and blocked groups. Everything is permitted by default, but click Config on any rule to restrict certain actions for specific users or groups.

Tracking Log → Tracking Permissions

User Lookup Report (Platform-Wide)

Find any user by email or phone instantly

What’s New: There’s a new User Lookup report under Global Dashboard > System Users. Type in a partial email or phone number and it pulls up any matching user across the instance: Buyers, Buyer Representatives, Publishers, Employees, and related contacts. You get up to 500 results in a single view. Only the Global Admin role has access.

Purpose: Before this, finding someone meant checking Buyers, then Publishers, then Employees, one by one. This puts it all in one search.

How Teams Use It: Go to Global Dashboard > System Users, open User Lookup, type a partial email or phone number, then click Search. The results table shows email, phone, and group for each match.

Final Thoughts

Summer was mostly about quality-of-life improvements across the platform: better control over data, less friction in everyday workflows, and stronger tools for managing traffic. If you’re already on Phonexa or want to take a closer look at any of these, your Account Manager can walk you through what fits your setup.
