The recognition was announced on November 8 during the LABJ’s second annual Top 100 Accountants event at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The event honored the top accounting professionals across Southern California for their ongoing efforts as outstanding financial stewards. “I’m incredibly honored to be recognized by the LABJ with this prestigious recognition,” said Mara. “The award inspires me to continue pushing boundaries and setting new standards personally and professionally, and it also inspires me to help my team and younger professionals feel empowered.” This award continues an impressive streak of accomplishments for Mara. Earlier this year, Mara was announced as a nominee for the Los Angeles Times’ CFO Leadership Award and was named a finalist for the CFO Leadership Award by the LABJ.
