Tina Ansaripour, Corporate Counsel for Phonexa, has been named a nominee by the Los Angeles Times for their “In-House Counsel Leadership Awards.”
Ansaripour is among the esteemed group of shortlisted Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing nominees who have been recognized for their remarkable legal expertise, exceptional leadership, and contributions to their organizations at large.
As Phonexa’s in-house counsel, Tina is involved with strategic development, contract negotiations and administration, corporate transactions, employment law matters, corporate governance, and a wide range of other legal matters.

Finalists and honorees will be announced and celebrated on May 4 during a dinner gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
During her time at Phonexa, Ansaripour has assisted in the implementation of two new tech solutions that provide a streamlined optimization feature for clients to utilize and has also spent her time restructuring internal cybersecurity policies and procedures to keep the company compliant through its fast-growing expansion of services provided.
She also provides counsel on regulatory compliance matters, primarily focusing on state and federal laws surrounding privacy and data security considerations. Ansaripour has legal experience targeted toward commercial transactions, IP, data privacy, due diligence, and M&A in the financial services and software-technology markets.
In addition to providing counsel to Phonexa, Ansaripour has also advised different companies through a number of CFPB compliance obligations, including conducting risk assessments of consumer products and services, updating privacy policies and procedures, reviewing websites and marketing materials in order to ensure compliance with industry standards, and establishing an audit process to assess compliance with federal consumer financial laws.
Ansaripour is an active member of the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) and actively participates in programs that aid in a rigorous set of Best Practices and Codes of Conduct to ensure her clients are thoroughly informed and treated fairly.
Ansaripour is also a fintech lawyer who received her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside, and received her J.D. from the Southwestern Law School.
