Automated Payments in Performance and Affiliate Marketing

The first thing you should consider before choosing your automated payment system is the type of payment you need. In the performance and affiliate marketing industries, the most in-demand types of payments include scheduled payouts, threshold-based payments, and more.

Here are the types of payments you might have to deal with as a performance marketer:

Payment Automation Examples

Affiliate Payments Paying to affiliates on every sale or for every lead
Media Buying Payments Paying to Google Ads for a PPC campaign
Influencer Payments Paying to Instagram influencers for exposure
Software Payments Paying a monthly subscription fee to Phonexa
Refunds Refunding advertisers for invalid or fraudulent conversions

It goes without saying that the best-case scenario is when your automated payment system supports a wide range of payments, so you can be sure you can handle all inbound and outbound payments with one solution without the need for additional switches.

Use case example: You can choose the day to send mass payout to affiliates, exclude a certain number of days from payment, or choose any custom payment frequency.

Choose Accounting Features

For bigger companies, you can set the right access permissions and adjust the dashboard view to ensure optimal payment and accounting visibility for different levels of employees.

Dillon Andrew, Co-founder at Niche Capital:

“We leverage our lender match technology to match businesses looking for capital with lenders who specialize in that type of capital. I’ve been using Phonexa for about 5 years total. I’ve built multiple companies, sold a couple using the LMS. We use LMS, Books360, and Lynx. One of my favorite things about Phonexa is how easy it is to use. My background was actually in accounting, and being able to use a product like Books360 has been a game changer. I know firsthand how much time it takes to generate reports, bills, invoices – all the above that comes with that territory. So it’s been really nice to have everything under one dashboard where I can see how much money we made, and how much money the buyers make – it gives visibility. Everyone can see everything which is huge.Since using Phonexa, we’ve been able to triple our revenue just by focusing on what we do best. The Phonexa platform is really robust out of the gates, but once you start using it, it really becomes very easy to use. Prior to having it, I can’t imagine what my life was like. I love the team here – my success team is phenomenal and I couldn’t be any happier with the service I’ve gotten.”
