The New Year is upon us.

2017 will mark a decade since the first iPhone was released. Steve Jobs walked on stage, announced that his company was “reinventing” the phone, and our lives haven’t been the same.

We went from having heard about “apps” to making them a part of our daily vocabulary. We went from using our phones pretty regularly to not being able to live without them.

If you haven’t noticed because you’ve had your head buried in your phone for too long, we’re going through a mobile revolution. 20% of the world’s population has an active Facebook account and that number is only growing.

So, with social media becoming engrained in our everyday lives, and with so many people having constant access to their phones, how does this impact the way we do business?

It’s important to contextualize how rapidly the internet has grown. In 1995, a mere 1% of the world had internet, while now, two decades later, half the world has access; with that, comes a huge rise in calls that consumers make to businesses from their mobile devices.

70% of mobile searchers are calling businesses. In 2019, 162 billion calls will be made to businesses from smartphones.

The customer journey has never relied so heavily on mobile. This is how consumers are now connecting with businesses – by picking up their phones and calling. They want to have live conversations and business owners must take advantage of these opportunities.

Call Analytics and Call Tracking

In recent years, we’ve transitioned from desktop to mobile, and the average consumer’s primary search device is also a phone. We’re seeing a new era of call commerce, where call analytics is an essential part of the puzzle.

In 2014, BIA/Kelsey coined the term, “The call is the new click.” In this sense, call analytics is Google Analytics for your calls. We’ve seen how click-to-call has become an essential part of doing business; more importantly, businesses need a reliable and convenient platform that can analyze and track these calls, giving business owners crucial insight into their marketing campaigns. What’s working? What isn’t working? Where can you make adjustments and maximize your spending?

Phonexa’s Call Logic platform is revolutionary. The platform consists of all the features you’d expect from a call analytics and call tracking platform, with unique functions within its feature unlike any other platform on the market today.

We’ve designed an infographic below which breaks down just how significant growth of mobile is. It’s time to work with a call platform that can help your business reach new heights!
